Get up and change ...

Today I did read some McKinsey&Company articles around Digital Transformation and there are a lot more out there. In summary, everybody has to change as quickly as possible, to not fall behind.

The board of directors has to change (http://www.mckinsey.com/business-functions/business-technology/our-insights/adapting-your-board-to-the-digital-age?cid=other-eml-ttn-mkq-mck-oth-1609), HR has to change (http://www.mckinsey.com/business-functions/organization/our-insights/people-analytics-reveals-three-things-hr-may-be-getting-wrong?cid=other-eml-ttn-mkq-mck-oth-1609), IT has to change (http://www.mckinsey.com/business-functions/business-technology/our-insights/five-questions-boards-should-ask-about-it-in-a-digital-world?cid=other-eml-ttn-mip-mck-oth-1609) and WE HAVE TO CHANGE as well (http://www.mckinsey.com/business-functions/digital-mckinsey/our-insights/the-new-tech-talent-you-need-to-succeed-in-digital?cid=other-eml-nsl-mip-mck-oth-1610).

All four articles basically burn down to the same key question --> How to train and retain existing and how to attract and acquire new talent for the digital age? And the good thing for us job seekers 😉, the expertise, experience and skills required have nothing to do with the age we are in, it is more a matter of mindset and the willingness to be flexible and change, when needed.

A nice video about readyness for change https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Txy6DwbwZ9g&feature=youtu.be (Who moved my Cheese - The Movie by Dr Spencer Johnson), enjoy watching.
