MBSR = Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction

One of the recurring themes in the Tim Ferriss interviews/podcasts for the "Tools of Titans" book is the so called Morning or once-per-day routine. For lot of the featured guys Meditation is part of it.

With respect to meditation I can only remember the birth preparation courses of my kids, when this was used to relax and focus on breathing. Most of the time the ladies were in full practice and the husbands sleeping besides them, same for me 😉. But let's take it more serious.

MBSR or Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction  (https://www.mylifestages.org/health/wellness/mindfulness_based_stress_reduction.page) is a 40 year old practice developed in the USA that is used by a lot of top athletes and even US Marines. Standard duration is 8 weeks and I even did find an online course for FREE https://palousemindfulness.com/index.html. If this is not your way, there are a lot of other ideas around meditation available e.g. http://www.goodnet.org/articles/5-simple-meditations-you-should-try-right-now. Definitely one way to rethink-and-focus, so why not give it a try?
