Change Management and Resistance to Change ...

... will be the main topic of the next four days in my education. Today we started with the basics and some scientific models, to describe the different states people will phase during any change. Kotter's 8-Step Change Model (https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newPPM_82.htm) and Lewin's Change Management Model  (https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newPPM_94.htm) were only two of several other models. Yesterday I have been invited to my first Assessment Center for next week Friday. It will happen in four phases - An IT related group task, followed by a presentation, then a role playing game. When you have got enough points from the first three tasks, you will make it to the job interview at the end of the day. Sounds like an interesting setup, will be fun and I am looking forward to it. I like new experiences.

  • If you could have one gigantic billboard anywhere with anything on it, what would it say? -->  KISS - Keep it simple stupid - In a more and more complex world people are forgetting to start or see things simple. Over time it will become more complex anyway.
