More about Change Management ...

As already mentioned, the second presence week of my education is focused around Change and Self management. During the last two days we did go further into details about Change Management and covered topics like Creativity Tools (https://www.mindtools.com/pages/main/newMN_CT.htm), Lewin's Change Management Model (https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newPPM_94.htm), an Organizational Culture Inventory (OCI)(http://www.humansynergistics.com/Products/OrganizationDevelopment/OrganizationalCultureInventory), a Stakeholder analysis, the Dr Meredith Belbin team roles (https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newLDR_83.htm), Bruce Tuckmann's Stages of Team Formation (https://www.mindtools.com/pages/article/newLDR_86.htm) and many more.

As you can see, the https://www.mindtools.com/ page is really helpful for these kind of Management supporting material and general information.

Besides that I will have two phone calls with headhunters later this week, to discuss potential opportunities. Both did come to me either via LinkedIn or Xing. Today I did get a letter (paper via mail) from the city management, where I did apply for an IT management position. They had a lot of applicants for this position and I am not shortlisted so far, but they want to keep my interesting documents, until the process is finished. They will come back to me before the end of June 2016. Time is really running fast in the public administration 😉.
