Fixed versus Growth mindset ...

Quick recap of the ice hockey story and Germany playing against Canada in the quarter final yesterday. The better team - Canada - did win in the end, we just have to accept this, congratulations and well done. Another great motivation and performance of the German team, supported by the 17.000 visitors in the arena and millions on TV, but it was not enough in total against a team with more potential and the flexibility and capabilities to always increase their pressure and performance when needed.

Today I started to prepare my presentation for the final exam of the DTC education. Besides the 2nd written exam, there will be a 1 hour colloquium to review a project from my past business activities, with respect to digital transformation and change management theories. What did go well and bad, and what could be improved in the future, based on the learnings from the DTC education.

Finally a reference to a great article I found yesterday about the differences of a Fixed and a Growth mindset https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/fail-grow-maria-groeschel?trk=v-feed&lipi=urn%3Ali%3Apage%3Ad_flagship3_search_srp_content%3BzCWq1TsY%2B%2Bfv0Pl07SEZvw%3D%3D. With a fixed mindset, you believe you are who you are and you cannot change. This creates problems when you're challenged because anything that appears to be more than you can handle is bound to make you feel hopeless and overwhelmed. Travis Bradberry https://www.linkedin.com/in/travisbradberry/
