Leadership is always work in progress ...
Management is doing things right; leadership is doing the right things. Peter Drucker
So far one of my favorite leadership quotes, but I have seen another one yesterday that is great as well.
“You are not a leader until you have produced another leader who can produce another leader” -- Dr Stephen Brown (https://www.linkedin.com/in/drstephenbrown1/). More details in this nice article https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/you-leader-until-have-produced-who-can-produce-another-simon-banks
A different way of seeing leadership, but very much in line with my own belief around this topic. We are too often too much focused on people administration instead of people/talent development. Very often the fear to hire a competitor is misleading recruiting decisions. Why are we not looking for new influences, different opinions and growth potential in the best interest of the company we are working for? Something to think about.
