Keeping all the balls in the air ...
Well, as always when a deadline is coming closer (BOB2018 on 16-May-18, http://bobplus.de/), suddenly new tasks are showing up and time pressure begins. Smart prioritisation can help, yes I fully agree if you do not have any outside dependencies, but sometimes you just have to accept the situation and make it happen.
I had a busy day yesterday with a short notice customer meeting in the morning that did require a small presentation, then a school assignment in the afternoon (preparation of the graduation party of my youngest daughter in 2019) and in the evening another team meeting of the VDI Nacht der Technik (https://rhein-wupper.nacht-der-technik.de/) preparation. Looking good as we have already 15 potential participating companies and 20 is the current target, to get a GO decision and to have an event that also makes sense from a financial perspective. Still another month to go, so we will have to find more companies and sponsors.
With all these tasks and the day-to-day work there was no time and motivation left yesterday evening to write a post. But to delight my faithful readers, a quick post today morning, before we leave for the short public holiday and bridge day trip. We have a saying in Germany, if you are self-employed, you have to do the work on your own and permanently. So trip yes, but I will take my laptop with me to work a little bit on the presentation for next week Wednesday. The key messages and pages are ready, but there is still some fine tuning and test runs required, to be beneficial and interesting for the young audience.
I will keep you posted, have fun and enjoy the nice weather:
