The week fourteen (*) summary.

As you already know, a busy week with a lot of different activities, a public holiday and bridge day. My right placement activities had to get in the background a little bit, to give more space for the BOB2018 presentation preparation and the trip back into history 😉.

Tomorrow I will finish another candidate profile, does not make sense to send it to the customer, when nobody is in the office anyway, like last week. Tuesday is the final preparation day for my two presentations on Wednesday. The structure and the key message/content pages are ready, I just need some final fine tuning and bridging statements and pictures to be ready. I am really looking forward to it plus the reaction and feedback of the young audience.

With respect to my post from 23-Feb-18 about the Winter Olympics Ice Hockey tournament and the German team ending in 2nd place, we now have the 2018 Ice Hockey World Championship in Denmark (https://www.new-iihf.com/en/events/2018/wm) and the restructured German team is not really doing good. With one game to go we already know that we will not make it to the Quarterfinal this time. Too much changes in the young team (older players retired and some are still playing in the Stanley Cup Playoffs -https://www.nhl.com/stanley-cup-playoffs). Maybe next time again?

Yesterday evening our German representative for the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest in Lisbon (https://eurovision.tv/) did much better. After several disastrous years with last places and 2015 even with ZERO points, we finished on the 4th place. Great performance and really wide acceptance of the singer Michael Schulte and his song "You Let Me Walk Alone" by the country jurys and televoters. Well done.

To finish for today and as we have Mother's Day in Germany, some related articles below. I still believe we should celebrate this 364/365 and not 1/365 days, but this is another story 😙:
