1.25 days Canterbury ...
We arrived in Canterbury from Wales yesterday, the famous Cathedral, founded 597 A.D., is seen in the background. For more details see https://www.canterbury.co.uk/
Seems to be a must see place for school classes, as we have seen several today from Germany, Italy, Spain and France. Possibly many more and tourists from around the world as well. Really understandable as this is a nice place with really old houses, I have seen one from 1372 and we had our lunch today in a building where the Pilgrims met before they started to the USA.
Final destination tomorrow will be Hastings, https://www.visit1066country.com/explore-1066-country/hastings, before we go back from Dover to Calais on Friday.
In summary it was a really great trip to the UK, especially Wales this time, with a weather that was much better than expected for mid and late October. But after this hot summer it could only be good. Lucky travelers once again, hopefully it stays like this.
With respect to relaxation after nearly two weeks off the job, I do not miss anything, but can still remember by password 😀.
