1st of all the renovation activity is DONE. All hands on work finished and the furniture moved back. Now it is just filling the cupboards again, what is not that urgent and gives some free time to relax until the holiday is over Sunday evening. A great job done in a team together with my wife 🙂👍.
The FridaysForFuture (https://www.fridaysforfuture.org/) kids had been on the street again today. During their Easter holiday and much earlier than normal, just to be very clear that they are not skipping school for fun, but to give a strong signal and to initiate a necessary change.
Besides the Environmental Protection activities from the past month the Marvel (https://www.marvel.com/movies) and Avengers: Endgame (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TcMBFSGVi1c) hype has finally started Wednesday this week. As preparation for the 3 hour film our kids asked us to see the Avengers: Infinity War film first, to have a better understanding of the situation and to be well prepared for the cinema experience in the coming days.
Unbelievable how much money Marvel since 2008 and Disney starting in 2009 made with the whole "culmination of a 21-movie buildup of standalone installments, sequels, spinoffs, and superhero mashups" https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2019-04-24/avengers-endgame-review-a-finale-for-18-billion-dollar-franchise. Anyway it has many parallels with the business life. A lot of different skills and capabilities together in one team are making everybody much stronger ...
Will keep you posted, when I have seen the film.
The way a team plays as a whole determines its success. You may have the greatest bunch of individual stars in the world, but if they don't play together, the club won't be worth a dime. Babe Ruth, American - Athlete February 6, 1895 - August 16, 1948 http://www.baberuth.com/
