My week 48-2019 highlights ...

Always Keep the Human Touch in Leadership. Family Values that can be applied in many Teams, Businesses & Organisations  https://www.linkedin.com/posts/titia-niehorster-35411b28_leaders-entrepreneurs-linkedinfam-activity-6606904862112395264-axsl

I think the counter of my webpage has a technical issue in the moment, because it did add only 25 readers in the last 3 days. Normally it should be 350 - 450 per day, so this cannot only be the impact of the long Thanksgiving Weekend and Black Friday shopping. Hopefully not? I did open a ticket with the service desk today, so we will find out shortly.

Yesterday there was Open House in the school of my daughter, an information day for the future 5th and 11th grade students, who will be starting next year after summer holidays. Always interesting to discuss with insiders (the teachers), how they are seeing the current school system and the development with respect to digitalization, the capabilities of students, the quality of teaching, plans to reduce the shortage of teachers and many more topics. An inside out view is very helpful to complete the picture of your outside in view that you take from personal experience or, what you read in the newspapers for example.

Next week will be busy again, as there are not a lot of working days left before the holiday season and the start of 2020. Including Christmas market visits and the company Christmas celebration event. Looking forward to it 😉. Have fun and enjoy the coming weeks.

I have frequently been questioned, especially by women, of how I could reconcile family life with a scientific career. Well, it has not been easy. -- Marie Curie, Polish - Scientist November 7, 1867 - July 4, 1934, https://www.biography.com/scientist/marie-curie
