My week 16-2020 summary

Always great to put numbers into a perspective. The 2020 number is already 10x, what has been seen before, but comparing it with the whole population of other countries makes it even more dangerous. A similar approach has been taken for "Visualizing the Length of the Fine Print, for 14 Popular Apps", see  https://www.visualcapitalist.com/terms-of-service-visualizing-the-length-of-internet-agreements/

As we do not only see a "high-speed" improvement in the schools environment with respect to digital transformation, but also in private and business life, let me share a great picture that perfectly supports this change in mindset - digital transformation and organizational changehttps://marketoonist.com/2020/04/digital-transformation-2.html

A quick recap from Friday. I did Take the free ikigai vocational personality test at  https://ikigaitest.com/ and the result was really impressive, a perfect fit with how I see myself. After 10 - 15 minutes answering questions in 4 areas, you get a really detailed result, including a filled-in IKIGAI picture for yourself. I can really recommend spending the time, if you want to learn something about yourself.

Yesterday the whole family was busy watching the One World: Together At Home Special to Celebrate COVID-19 Workers live stream on Youtube. It did start at 08.00PM on Saturday and did go until 04.00AM Sunday morning Germany time. A great variety of music, stars, people who think they are stars and a lot of voices/feelings/impressions from front line workers (doctors, nurses, grocery store workers, delivery people, cleaning staff, help organizations, etc.). In total a really great show from my perspective and a different approach of providing information and music. In some cases not only the audience, but also the musicians had been challenged by the situation and technical setup 😉.

Here you can see the 8 hour program https://youtu.be/87-ZFjLfBAQ, my personal highlights are - Annie and Lola Lennox at 5:41:50, Keith Urban at 7:09:45 and Burna Boy at 7:16:50 and many more ...

David Guetta did take a different approach in Miami, playing 1:40 hours on a central plaza in the middle of a lot of sky scrapers, to keep social distancing for him and the audience, see  https://youtu.be/Vr2FLgmWCJA

What you can do with technology in the meantime, when you spend some preparation and post-processing time and work is visible at Eric Whitacre's Virtual Choir 2.0, 'Sleep', https://youtu.be/6WhWDCw3Mng, check it out ...

Have a great next week - #StayHome, Stay Safe and Healthy, especially when the Lockdown rules are getting released slowly.
