After the REACH and the GROW coaching models, I am covering OSCAR today.
"The OSCAR coaching model was originally described by Karen Whittleworth and Andrew Gilbert in 2002. The aim of the authors was to develop a model that built upon and enhanced the existing GROW model (1990s), with the intention to provide those in managerial positions with the ability to adopt a developmental coaching style, to the benefit of their company and team." https://www.businessballs.com/coaching-and-mentoring/oscar-model/#how-is-it-useful?
Besides GROW and OSCAR the Businessballs website is covering models like ACHIEVE, STEPPPA, CLEAR and Heron's Six Categories of Intervention as well. Worth checking their page for more details at https://www.businessballs.com/coaching-and-mentoring/.
This week I was asked to write an article for one of the Agile coaching and support teams at work. They are releasing a regular BLOG that is covering their projects progress and topics of common interest. One of my 1st topics could be to cover different coaching models, as I did today, or to give some support for finding their personal Unique Selling Point (USP), https://www.coburgbanks.co.uk/blog/candidate-tips/8-tips-to-developing-a-killer-usp/.

“Positive thinking is more than just a tagline. It changes the way we behave. And I firmly believe that when I am positive, it not only makes me better, but it also makes those around me better.” -- Harvey Mackay, https://harveymackay.com/
