The week 42-2020 summary ...

The statement for Leaders on the left also applies for being a Role Model. It is great when you think you are a good role model for e.g. behavior XYZ, but if you are the only one with this opinion it does not count. But when you are really accepted as role model by other people you are one. Keep this in mind 😉.  

We are proceeding with the "Tea for two and Coffee for Three" meeting format at work, to improve the team interaction in the new organization. Does not only help to learn about people you did not know before, it is also a welcome change to the home office work environment we are currently in. And with COVID-19 coming back after the summer break, mainly home office will go on for several more month.

The surprising factor of the meeting format is, how quickly you can find a common topic of interest with people you did not know before. And it is not just because we are working in the same company. It is more related to private interests, skills that are hidden, as you do not need them on a daily basis, or ways of working that are not widely spread or known in the organization. Last Friday I have seen another good example for it and we had a relaxing and informative 60 minutes together.

Coming Friday we have the 2nd certificate ceremony of the Shiftup Qualification program, https://shiftup.work/qualification/. I will get the Qualified Agility & Innovation Advancer (QAIA) certificate. For the Professional level I am already 28% done, double the effort than for the previous level 👍.
