Start with 100% trust ...

Another great Tanmay Vora sketchnote shared by Rebels at Work lately.

In the workshop today I heard a statement that I also applied in my past assignments as manager. "When you let everybody in a team start at a 100% trust level, you do not need to build trust. People can either stay there or work themselves down from 100%, when something goes wrong". A much easier approach that tells a lot about leadership styles and giving trust before building trust.

We used Lencioni’s 5 Dysfunctions of a Team approach to describe the status quo and did work on solutions in several break out sessions. One essence was - Trust, enforce collaboration and be positively bold. More to come tomorrow.

"Not finance. Not strategy. Not technology. It is teamwork that remains the ultimate competitive advantage, both because it is so powerful and so rare." -- Patrick Lencioni
