Workshops this week ...

The workshop yesterday finished with the recognition that we are on a good track, but there is still some way to go and room for improvement, to develop the OneTeam out of all the individuals. The essence from Day-1 did still work for Day-2, maybe with a slight adjustment - Trust, motivate collaboration and be positively bold. As with every change you must accept that people have their own speed during the journey and it only happens, when they see a personal benefit by changing.
During a Brown Bag session today - Brown bag sessions are a way to promote learning within the company you work for, and absolutely anyone in your wider team can be invited. - I did a shortened USP - Unique Selling Point workshop, as it had to fit into the 1 hour available. Some weeks back I had 35 women attending, today it was a group of 34 technical experts and developers. Very different audience, but a lot of similarities between a pure technical topic and USP, what is more about everybody as an individual. I offered a learning path, a kind of workflow and a tool box, BUT there is no API and coding standard to interact with yourself. Needs some time to get used to it, but the interest was there 🙂👍.
"Learning lessons is a little like reaching maturity. You're not suddenly more happy, wealthy, or powerful, but you understand the world around you better, and you're at peace with yourself. Learning life's lessons is not about making your life perfect, but about seeing life as it was meant to be." -- Elisabeth Kubler-Ross (by Quote Master)
