Worst case scenario ...

When you have no luck sometimes bad luck comes along too. This was the case today for the retail stores in the town where I am living. Due to the fast increasing COVID-19 numbers, the current lockdown light is expectd to become a hard lockdown starting next week. So last chance today for Christmas shopping in the city and all store owners were expecting queues of people waiting due to the social distancing guidelines.
Then around 04.30 PM a full power outage in the city for nearly one hour, can it get worse? A lot of people wanted to support the local stores instead of Online Retail, but shops could not collect the money as the cash registers had no power 😠. A good argument for longer office hours.
"The world is like a reverse casino. In a casino, if you gamble long enough, you're certainly going to lose. But in the real world, where the only thing you're gambling is, say, your time or your embarrassment, then the more stuff you do, the more you give luck a chance to find you." -- Scott Adams, American - Cartoonist Born: June 8, 1957
