My Unique Selling Point (USP) workshop did go smoothly today and was very well received by the audience. The slide-deck is providing a framework to find your own USP that you could either do as a Self-paced training or in teams of e.g. 2 or 3, for better motivation, to share findings and answer questions.
In self-paced trainings the journey is the fun part, to come to a certificate or reward in the end. Now also offered by SHIFTUP.
With respect to starting a new chapter in life, what is the best way to start a new position in a company or with a new company, when everybody is remote or working from home, due to the COVID-19 situation?
You could apply common sense, make use of positive experience from your past or check with companies that are working remotely as part of their business model anyway. Management 3.0 is proposing a lot of good pratices, with Personal Maps as a great example for an introduction session with a new team or to note down key facts per colleague. The more open you are with your personal introduction, the higher the motivation for your colleagues to follow your example. You could use e.g. the Elevator Pitch idea/approach to get clarity about, what you should be saying to introduce yourself.
