Easter Monday ...
Our 2021 Easter bush, picture taken some days ago ...
Two years Easter in a row under COVID-19 conditions and the colored Easter eggs are replaced by face masks. Luckily the monotonous hospital colors are replaced by cool designs in the meantime 👍.
Let's hope that this was the last Easter under this conditions, assuming that the vaccination speed will be much faster in April. My parents with 80+ are already done with their 2nd shot, my father in law similar age has to wait until end of April to start, my wife got her 1st shot already due to her interaction with school kids and my nephew in the USA got his vaccination already together with his wife. Crazy times and an unclear strategy by country, it can only get better and faster right now - fingers crossed 👍🤔.
In our garden the most trees are in full bloom and we have snow on the ground, April weather as forecasted for the rest of this week. Staying inside is the only option. Good thing is that the Easter TV program is offering enough alternatives. One film we have seen was The Imitation Game about Alan Turing and the Enigma. You might recall the name from the Turing Test - The phrase “The Turing Test” is most properly used to refer to a proposal made by Turing (1950) as a way of dealing with the question whether machines can think.
More details about Turing and Enigma below, an interesting story:

"Instead of trying to produce a programme to simulate the adult mind, why not rather try to produce one which simulates the child's? If this were then subjected to an appropriate course of education one would obtain the adult brain." -- Alan Turing quotes
