My week 20-2022 summary

Before Winter time the squirrels in our garden area are hiding/storing nuts and fruits along the fences to have something to eat during the cold time. Everything, what has not been found back or eaten is building new trees under positive circumstances. Two weeks ago I had to cut down a tree that was too close to the house of the neighbor.

Today I wanted to shorten the rest of the tree trunk. I was fully motivated, had a plan and the right tools - no chainsaw on a Sunday, but a sharp manual saw - and approached the cut in small increments. Always inspecting the progress and adapting the further approach. The only blocking factor was the environment - behind the tree was another tree, both trees were in a corner with not a lot of space to move freely around it - what is also part of the equation to be successful.

You might know this from other projects, transformations or change initiatives? Thinking positive, rethinking the approach and taking even smaller inçrements to adapt to the environment will be helpful to have a positive outcome in the end. Finally I did cut the tree trunk, it took more time and effort than expected, but I made it 👍.

Next week we have a 4 day work week 🤔, May and June is the time with many public holidays in Germany. Have a surprising and inspiring week.
